The BlackBerry 9300 is another great business device released by RIM on the market. In terms of design, this smartphone looks like the other BlackBerry handsets, featuring rounded corners and textured back. It also features a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels that sits above the full QWERTY keyboard. The navigation array is located immediately under the screen and includes an optical trackpad, Talk and End keys and back and menu buttons. On the left side of the phone you will discover the microUSB port, a convenience key and the 3.5mm headphone jack while on the right side you will find the volume controls and the camera button. The media controls are on top of the BlackBerry.

When it comes to the hardware department, I should mention that this smartphone is powered by a powerful processor with 256MB of RAM. It runs on BlackBerry OS 5 that comes with customizable homescreen icons and a nice interface. This interface is similar to the Windows desktop PC software. You will discover multiple text-based menus that help you navigate through apps, but will seem unusual and complicated to those unfamiliar with BlackBerry OS 5. The BlackBerry 9300 also provides access to the BlackBerry App World from where you can download various themes, background images and ringtones that will help you customize your smartphone.
The BlackBerry 9300 features a phone book limited only by the memory available, so you will be able to add for each contact various phone numbers, nickname, email address and other personal details. You can organize your contacts in groups and add one of the ringtones available. For typing your messages you have at your disposal a full QWERTY keyboard. So, you will have the possibility to type SMS, MMS and emails and even send instant messages. This smartphone provides support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, A-GPS with BlackBerry Maps and HTML browser.
Another important feature of this BlackBerry is the 2MP camera with basic settings and recording capabilities. You will have the possibility to adjust picture size and quality, white balance and use the sepia or monochrome options. This smartphone also features a built-in media player able to display track information and album artwork. This media player can support various audio and video file formats including MP3, MP4, WMA and WMV. You will have the possibility to store all your pictures, videos and music on microSD cards of up to 32GB.
